First attempt to 3d print a model not designed for 3d printing! I sent the STL file to 4 different 3d printing stores and gathered different feedback from each of them. Yes, it is PLA, a type of thermoplastic derived from corn starch or sugar cane. Not exactly what I want but since I needed to do some test and learn, this was the easy and cheaper choice.
