Within the TMDC summer course program on the topic Territory as a resource, I signed up for Lara Campos' workshop on bio-composites.

This workshop proposed the creation of a material from our organic waste to generate a rigid and hydrophobic bio-composite by working with different natural resins.

I decided to use sawdust that I had at home, other participants used eggshells, ashes, remains of flowers and plants, etc. The result was the least important thing for me, I wanted to understand how a waste from my house could be transformed into a resistant object just by mixing it with natural resin that acts as a binder. It was then poured into a wooden mould and a short time later the magic happened.
